Hidden Artists

HIDDEN ARTISTS

Saturday 17 June 2017, 18:30 – 22:30

at Treffpunkt St. Pauli

Beim Grünen Jäger 10a, Hamburg

Marlane is pleased to present “Hidden Artists” featuring works by Nathalie L. Brochard, Cherie Heinrich and an anonymous artist with a reception on June 17, 2017, 18:30 – 22:30.

The works displayed are photographs, paintings and mixed media. In conjunction with the art, there will be a book launch party for 'Parenting Adventures through Paris, Germany and America' by Marlane Wingo

This event is to showcase women in the arts who are hidden from the commercial world. The drive to create something of importance and to surpass the norm.

Nathalie L. Brochard is from France and has been living in Hamburg for a while. She presents portraits of international empowering and inspiring women living in Hamburg coming from all over the world.

Cherie Heinrich uses her self-portrait in almost all her work. She makes things that reflect feelings and thought processes without the intent to make something beautiful. Cherie works from her gut. The end product is a reflection of only the process. Essentially, the end product is irrelevant to her. It’s merely a small snapshot of an American perspective of the German landscape of Hamburg and of her home from afar.

Anonymous uses mixed media art depicting equality.

Marlane Wingo sets out to make sense of different parenting styles from Europe and America. She sports her cultured-colored sunglasses and ventures out with her son to playground playdates and gelato meet-ups. 'Parenting Adventures through Paris, Germany and America' is Marlane's big debut.  http://www.marlanewingo.com/
